How can I take decent night pictures with my Nikon Coolpix 10?
I'm going to Greece soon and bring my little Nikon Coolpix digital camera. Take pictures very good with the flash on or off during the day, but I fail to understand to take pictures at night. I mean, when I shoot something that is well lit and off my flash often blurring. I'm stuck with it (unless you use a tripod) or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Anna PS Oh, one more thing about this camera. I used to have a Kodak digital and use the fill flash a lot and was very happy with the results. But now, with my Nikon my themes are drawn, as if the flash is too bright. Although they are standing the same distance – about 5-8 feet away. It is an ideal distance for Kodak, but not for Nikon. I'm stuck with my songs back a few meters? Any ideas?
Night shots are difficult. The answer is simple – Tripod. With the Kodak vs. Coolpix flash theme, each camera has its inherent flaws, and you just play at one of them. The flash defaults are different from Nikon, Kodak, and simply adjust their habits to kick camera skills. So when you find something that works for you, hold until it gives up the ghost.
