What do you think about Du Simone de Beauvoir and the Second S * x?
Did you know that the publisher does not allow a correct translation English of this book? The original translator did not even speak French, apart from a few classes at school and had to work through it with a dictionary – Well, who mistakenly thought he was a sex manual for women and to cut big chunks of text. Do not you think it's time to this great treaty text was with the respect they deserve, and we finally get English speakers to read the text as the authour intended? Wow, Fex Sairy, if you read it in French perhaps could translate for us?! You're right about Sade – I find this a lovable monster.
I know a lot of people here do not like Simone, but I do, despite the fact that she and I disagree on everything-that is, Sade and her book. She was a great woman, and I realized that after reading his autobiography, Memoirs of a dutiful daughter. Simone was ahead of its time in many respects. He cared deeply about humanity in general and tried to find ways to help future generations. She Aquarius is a typical …. I do not know much about the English version as I read French. I hope that someone could do justice though. EDIT – for June. Some people put their ultimate happiness for the good of others. Simone was one of those rare people. I think I misunderstood. Maybe the English translation is horrible, after all …. Also, before anyone says it was concerned only with women, remember that it is she who saved the work of Sade. She was known for going to bars and talk to prostitutes in order to understand them.
