Lens Sony Hvr
Sony HVR-HD1000U or Canon XL2?
I've heard great things about the Canon XL2 (you can replace the lens with any camera from Canon, which already has), but then I saw the sample videos of the Sony and the quality is better. What should I get? help!
The Canon XL2 is a pro-grade definition DV format standard camcorder. He has great (and interchangeable – as you pointed out) and the lens array image sensor so that its behavior is fairly low light good. It uses XLR connectors for audio in the Sony HVR-HD1000 is Sony's Pro line, but check the specifications – the lenses and the image sensor are the same size alone, almost like a camcorder, high-end consumers.
