What is the largest Compact Flash card that the Canon Digital Rebel XT can hold?
What is bigger than the compact flash card Canon Digital Rebel XT can hold? I know that you can use any size, but will not show how many images are gone. So what is the size that is technically the most?
I used a Sandisk Extreme III 4GB CF card successfully on my Rebel XT and fired over a thousand photos in it. The limit of 999 shows on the card, but actually shot around 1040 JPEG images at the highest quality camera setting. The first images 40-50 told me I had 999 left. I could see all the images on the LCD. Hope this helps.
