What is the best SLR camera with a lot of features and effects?
Looking for an SLR camera for less than $ 800. Want to that has plenty of features that are easy to use – such as effects on the camera image. I do not want a camera with the explosion of the same color ol, sepia, blah, blah. I want something with some pizazz as different built in filters, fisheye lenses, or other. I also have to be able to attatched lenses and should be at least 7 megapixels … HELP! – I have a Sony DSC F717 now and not only doing their job for my photography … www.myspace.com/janelle84 take a look and tell me what buy!
My first reaction was not to recommend a DSLR if you want to "effects". But checked out your page and you have some talent and really enjoy photography, so perhaps the cost and weight of a digital SLR camera will be worth it for you. That said, you can not really go wrong with any of Digital SLRs entry level Canon, Nikon, Pentax or Olympus. If you like the live view LCD screen, you may want to check the Oly's. They are small, Fully equipped and cheap. (E-410 for example). As mentioned, none of the benefits offered DLSRs these "toys. Use one of the many photo programs for effects. Start with Picasa2 (it's free) and then invest $ 80 Photoshop Elements and start learning. PE is a very powerful program for the price.
